Dana Point
A stone’s throw away from our apartment, Dana Point is one of our favorite places to hang out! What’s not to love about a chill beach town with scrumptious food, good vibes, and great weather? Meander through all the “lantern” themed streets, or go for a scenic walk from Salt Creek Beach to Strands Beach. Catch a gorgeous pink sunset from the bluffs, or sip a nice cocktail at Dana Harbor while ogling some seals. There’s something for everyone here!

Laguna Beach
Laguna Beach ain’t just a TV show… it’s real! Dig your toes into the sand of this quintessential California beach and watch your worries melt away. Indulge your inner artist and visit any of the boundless art galleries in this famed beach town, or grab an Acaí bowl from Banzai Bowls to cool you down before tanning by the water. To get the true local experience, watch the sunset from the rooftop bar at Skyloft before moseying over to Brussels Bistro for a night of dinner and dancing.

Newport Beach
Newport Beach is a coastal city at the intersection of nature, luxury, and paradise! You can go for a morning run at Back Bay Loop, fuel up with a fancy green drink, shop ‘til you drop at an opulent mall, paddleboard in the harbor, dine at a five-star restaurant for dinner, and end the night with a Balboa Island ferry ride to the best dive bars in town! All in one day. In Newport, the world is your oyster and there are lots of places to buy pearls.

Downtown San Juan Capistrano
San Juan Capistrano holds a special place in our hearts. It’s where we’re getting married, and it’s the site of some of our favorite dates. SJC is chock full of charm and personality. Every corner you turn here will put a smile on your face. It’s rich in history, excellent cuisine, and entertainment.

Huntington Beach
We had our magical first date here! It’s called Surf City for a reason: it’s the surf capital of California and home to the US Open of Surfing! Huntington Beach is always buzzing with something to do or something to eat. We recommend walking the pier with a beverage (hot or cold) in hand. Go for a dip, do some people watching on the boardwalk, or pick up some souvenirs on Main Street.
